As founder and president of Ipswich Bay Company, Mr. Gilbert has broad experience in designing sound, effective capital market solutions for the variety of problems faced by companies seeking to unlock shareholder value.

His key achievements include operating businesses profitably in periods of economic and industry changes, implementing strategies to grow new ventures, turning around the performance of complex sets of activities and adjusting the structure and focus of the enterprise.

In corporate finance, Mr. Gilbert has successfully executed transactions in mergers, buyouts, ESOPS, workouts and private placements of both debt and equity in industries which include gas transporation, forest products, electric utilities, metals and textile manufacturing, engineering, oil and financial services.

As Executive Vice President of the largest Texas bank, he provided pragmatic leadership to a 230 person organization responsible for business with corporate and institutional clients worldwide. Previously, Mr. Gilbert was in charge of Southeastern - Southwestern Corporate Banking for New York's Chemical Banking Corporation (now JP Morgan-Chase Bank) where he served in lending and managerial positions for nineteen years.

As President and C.E.O. of Premier Graphics, inc., one of the 30 largest commercial printing companies in the U.S., he is currently engaged in effectilng a turnaround, by refocusing operations and restructuring the balance sheet of this distressed business.

A native of New England, he is a graduate of Colby College and attended Boston University School of Law and the Harvard University Business School Executive Seminar.
